Canon is pulling out a new big gun in its digital camera arsenal with the unveiling of the EOS 50D Digital SLR Camera with 15.1-megapixel resolution and its new DIGIC 4 image processor. It will be available in October in either body only for around $1400 or in a kit version with Canon’s EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens for about $1600.
